   這是一首清淡感傷的英國民歌，訴說著一段雋永而感人的愛情故事，這首歌曾作為第40届奥斯卡提名影片《畢業生》（The Graduate）的插曲，旋律優美婉轉，深深觸動人的心靈深處。副歌中「Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme（荷蘭芹、鼠尾草、迷迭香、百里香）的每一種香草，都隱含著這一對戀人因為相愛，卻因故無法長相廝守的意境。

Parsley (荷蘭芹)，象徵「愛情與甜蜜」；有「停止心痛」的含意。

sage (鼠尾草)，象徵「力量」；有「給予力量面對現實」的含意。

rosemary (迷迭香)，象徵「忠誠」；有「請你不要忘了我」的含意。

thyme (百里香)，象徵「勇氣」；有「得到勇氣繼續邁向未來」的含意。
